Notes on writing more#

Every piece of writing that got published somewhere started with one decision: lower the activation energy to publish.

A few things that help me:

  1. Keep the bar low. Not every post has to be a deep dive. A 200-word note is a post.
  2. Write in plaintext. MDX files live next to the code. No CMS, no WYSIWYG, no staging environment to babysit.
  3. Publish before it's polished. The version you don't publish doesn't exist.

Worse is better, when the alternative is nothing at all.

That's it. That's the post.

Personal blog. Views and writing here are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer or any organization I'm affiliated with. Side projects, written on personal time.
